Welcome to PalmettoKayakFishing.com. This page explains our relationship with affiliate programs, how we earn commissions, and how that affects the content and recommendations you find on this site.
Participation in Affiliate Programs
PalmettoKayakFishing.com participates in several affiliate marketing programs, including the Amazon Associates program and other third‑party affiliate networks. As an affiliate, we may earn a commission when you click on an affiliate link on our site and make a qualifying purchase on the linked site.
How Commissions Are Earned
When you use an affiliate link on PalmettoKayakFishing.com, a small tracking code is used to credit any resulting sale to our account. Commissions are paid by the merchant or affiliate network—not by you. The commission percentage or fee structure varies by program and by merchant, and is determined solely by those third parties.
What This Means for You
Our recommendations are not influenced by affiliate relationships. We choose products, gear, and services based on research, hands‑on experience, testing, and reader feedback. Earning a commission does not increase the price you pay, nor does it change our editorial standards or the honesty of our reviews and guides.
- Transparency: We disclose when a link is an affiliate link, either inline in an article or in a clearly marked resource list.
- No extra cost: You pay the same price whether you access a merchant through our affiliate link or directly.
- Editorial integrity: We strive to provide accurate, useful, and unbiased information to help paddlers make informed choices.
Limits and Updates
Affiliate relationships and program terms can change. We review our disclosures and update them as needed to reflect current practices. If a merchant discontinues an affiliate program or changes commission terms, that change may affect the availability of affiliate links on this site.
By using PalmettoKayakFishing.com, you acknowledge that some links may be affiliate links and that we may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. Thank you for supporting the site and helping us continue to produce kayak fishing content, guides, and gear reviews.
